Children’s Day 2014 at NYC

BTF Metro NY/NJ team joined Ataturk School of Manhattan in celebrating The Children’s Day at The Manhattan Bridges School on April 26th, 2014.

Children from Turkey, India, Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Uzbekistan, Crimea represented their countries by dancing, singing in their own languages.  In the end of this wonderful celebration, BTF was recognized by TWLA and Ataturk School as one of the sponsors and supporters of this great event.  It was such an uplifting experience to be there as Team BTF to support the children from different cultures performing in celebration of The Children’s Day which was originated in Turkey.

Bridge to Türkiye Fund (BTF) was established in 2003 by community minded Turkish Americans (Turks4Good) driven to make a difference, to improve life and to cultivate social change for the common good. Our circle of compassion promotes respect and fellowship for humankind in the communities we serve. Turks4Good commitment to these ideals stems from our basic desire to give back to our native land for the many opportunities we have gained from her. We invite you to also contribute to the welfare of less fortunate children in Turkey.
