“Stories that Matter – Resilient Voices” is a student-led documentary screening and community gathering organized by ARU Turkish Society in collaboration with Bridge to Türkiye Fund (BTF) at Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge.

The event aims to raise awareness, encourage dialogue, and support fundraising efforts for children and communities affected by the Türkiye earthquakes. Inspired by BTF’s London event, this university-based gathering focuses on resilience, hope, solidarity, and community connection while creating a space for reflection and conversation.

The evening’s program is expected to include:

  • Opening remarks on behalf of BTF
  • Welcome speeches from Anglia Ruskin University representatives
  • Documentary screening (approximately 35–40 minutes)
  • Short talks and guest contributions
  • Informal community gathering and conversation session with students, academics, professionals, and local attendees

Funds raised through the event will support BTF’s ongoing educational and humanitarian projects for children and families in Türkiye.

Even if you are unable to attend, donations and support are warmly welcomed. Your participation and support help us continue rebuilding lives and communities affected by the earthquakes.
