Türkiye’nin Eğitimli Kızları (TEK), or Türkiye’s Educated Girls, was founded on a simple but powerful belief: when girls have educational opportunities, the impact extends far beyond the individual. TEK works to expand access to education for girls and young women across Türkiye, guided by a long-term vision of advancing the country’s achievements in science, technology, and the arts.
Creating Opportunities for Girls Across Türkiye
Through partnerships with organizations across Türkiye, TEK has impacted the lives of more than 1,500 female students, providing scholarships, computers, internet access, and skill-development opportunities.
This support helps address some of the barriers that can stand between girls and their education, from the cost of attending school to access to the technology and resources increasingly essential to learning. By meeting these needs, TEK helps students stay focused on their education and pursue opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.
At the heart of TEK’s work is the belief that educating and empowering girls creates an impact that extends far beyond the individual. As more young women gain the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their ambitions, they carry that knowledge and opportunity forward into their families, communities, and future generations.
