At BTF, transparency is a top priority. We have consistently received top ratings from charity watchdog groups for our efficient use of donor contributions and the impact of our initiatives. We are committed to keeping our donors fully informed about how their generous contributions are making a difference.
95% of the net amount of each designated gift supports the donor’s selected program, and 5% is applied as an unrestricted operations support allocation that helps deliver those programs effectively and responsibly.
The net amount is the gift BTF receives after the standard payment processing and platform costs that are charged by third parties on all online giving.
Gifts to the Area of Greatest Need are not subject to this allocation. Because these funds are unrestricted, they already provide the flexibility to support both urgent needs and the infrastructure that makes our work possible.
This approach helps ensure BTF’s lasting sustainability while maintaining transparency and maximizing our impact for children and youth in Türkiye. We are grateful for the generosity of our supporters, whose partnership makes this work possible.
We are deeply grateful for every gift entrusted to Bridge to Türkiye Fund. Each online donation includes standard third-party credit card processing fees. In addition, a modest portion of funds supports essential administrative and operating expenses — including secure digital platforms, compliance, financial stewardship, and the dedicated team who carry our mission forward each day.
We take our stewardship of your donation very seriously and adhere to the guidelines of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Donor Bill of Rights. Transparency and accuracy are central to our work. We are committed to honoring donor intent and ensuring that contributions are aligned with your wishes and in service of our mission.
To reflect our commitment to transparency, campaign totals displayed may include transaction fees. After applicable processing and bank fees are deducted, remaining funds are directed to support your donor-designated cause.
