We are Friends of BOYUT. As Boğaziçi University International Community (BOYUT), we have successfully raised funds to directly support university students affected by the earthquakes. The unpreparedness of the authorities, as well as the top-down disaster response, delayed the rescue operations and relief efforts.

Therefore, strengthening civil society’s efforts was crucial, not only to meet earthquake survivors’ material needs but also to give them hope for collective healing and a better future. Thanks to your generous contributions, our campaign has reached its goal, and the support has been gathered.
