A Benefit Fashion Show for the Turkish Earthquake Disaster Survivors

A critical risk to earthquake survivors is the “crush syndrome,” a condition observed in patients who have been buried under collapsed buildings or rubble. The breakdown of muscles and severe dehydration lead to acute kidney failure. Many of those who were lucky enough to survive the earthquake will need dialysis for the rest of their lives. Each dialysis machine costs about €7,500.
Donations made through Bridge to Turkiye will be used to purchase dialysis machines installed in the prefabricated dialysis center project of the LISES Foundation and the Turkish Kidney Foundation.
