On February 6, 2023, two powerful earthquakes struck southern Türkiye—leaving behind devastation on a heartbreaking scale. Thousands of lives were lost. Entire communities were shattered. And among the survivors were children who faced unthinkable trauma: losing not just their homes, but also their limbs—and their sense of safety.
Lovingly crafted by the dedicated volunteers at Bridge to Türkiye Fund, BTF4Kids sets deliver essential support to preschool, primary, and middle school students in underserved schools, giving them the tools they need to thrive and learn in better conditions.
These thoughtfully designed kits bring learning to life for both students and teachers, providing engaging, hands-on materials that make education more accessible and impactful. Built with the goal of promoting equal opportunities in education, each set combines fun and learning to spark curiosity and create lasting change in classrooms.
Fueled by compassion and a deep sense of solidarity, the Turkish-American diaspora stepped up in an extraordinary way. More than 250 grassroots fundraising events were organized across the U.S., and together, we raised over $1 million for the CATE Project.
