US Impact Scholarships​

Impact Scholarships are designed to empower high-achieving students from Türkiye who demonstrate both exceptional talent and financial need. Whether pursuing academic studies or internships in the United States, recipients are selected not only for their academic or artistic excellence but also for their dedication to making a positive impact in their communities.

Through active engagement in service projects in both Türkiye and the U.S., scholars cultivate leadership skills, strengthen civic responsibility, and contribute to cross-cultural understanding. The program aims to support a new generation of globally minded changemakers committed to creating a better future.

The BTF US Impact Scholarship empowers outstanding students from Türkiye to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in the United States. Whether your talent lies in academics, the arts, or beyond, this scholarship supports those whose educational goals are held back by financial need.

In addition to academic or artistic excellence, scholarship recipients are selected for their commitment to giving back. As part of the program, students actively participate in community service projects—both in Türkiye and in the United States—fostering a spirit of leadership, civic responsibility, and global engagement.

  • Award Amount: Up to $20,000 per academic year (disbursed biannually)
  • Who Can Apply: Students residing in Türkiye pursuing higher education
  • Selection Criteria: Academic or artistic excellence, financial need, and university admission
  • Funding Priority: Students who have already received partial aid from their university or other scholarships
  • How Funds Are Disbursed: Directly to institutions on students behalf
